¡Cinco de Mayo!

Honoring Dr. Luis Malpica y de LaMadrid, Honorable General Consul of Mexico in Houston and the 150th Anniversary of the "Battle of Puebla"

This year's celebration is especially meaningful. The "Battle de Puebla" was not only a military victory but as importantly, it represents the Mexican resolve and bravery in the face of an overwhelming foe. By creating an awareness of the true meaning of Cinco de Mayo, we are working in harmony with the mission of TBH - to educate all by preserving, presenting and promoting Latino culture.
